Matthew Allen is an artist and designer working out of Southern California. Matthew studied Art and Design at California Polytechnic University San Luis Obispo before taking work at Surfer Magazine. Matthew spent over 4 years working as both Assistant Art Director and Art Director at Surfer. While at Surfer Matt spent his nights designing for bands and working on the clothing project The Ryde. Matt spent the next three years as creative director of The Ryde before setting out on his own. Matt is currently focusing his attention on his freelance illustration and design business.
